Our Story
Built on partnership, driven by purpose
We are a husband-and-wife team based in Central Texas with complementary backgrounds in private equity, strategy consulting, and entrepreneurship. Our shared finance foundation from Baylor University set the stage for careers that have converged in East Holdings.
Abbey brings deal experience from her time on the investment team at Main Street Capital, one of the nation's premier BDCs, investing both debt and equity capital in privately-owned lower middle market companies. Van spent years advising Fortune 500 energy companies on strategy before founding and leading a Silicon Valley based venture-backed technology business serving the Defense industry.
As we raise our four children, we share a vision to integrate our professional and family lives more fully by acquiring and operating businesses that allow their communities, employees, and customers to flourish.
